The light-gray wool body shows honest use/age soiling, soft sides hang-down around black velvet band and stiffener at front shows traces of past eagle w/prongs and cloth stitched eagle use in the past. The top white piping is woven like a shoulder strap-piping while the lower white piping is wool w/wide black velvet band showing past skull outline and prong holes. Crazed finish to black leather visor and use soiled dark-tan leather sweatband. The visor stitches are little loose and the sweatband may be restitched as back seam shows the original tan color of leather above the cloth tie-knot. Gray twill satin lining shows honest use soiling, no trace of maker or sweatdiamond. Only 1-stitch repair to right-side near seam from moth or tear hole. Too Bad the original insignia got removed.
