Very nice U.S. Indian Wars Major General`s outfit, to include: doubled-breasted frockcoat, size medium, made of dark blue-black wool w/dark blue-black velvet collar and cuffs, 18 button front [buttons are rimmed raised eagle design, gold-finished], split tail w/4 buttons to rear, polished black cotton lining w/one pocket and makers labelsewn to outside [out of Columbus, Ohio], and matched pair of MG shoulder boards affixed to shoulders [2 gold bullion stars embroidered into dark blue-black velvet base, gold bullion edging]. Complete w/matching trousers, approximate size 35" waist, 6 hiiden button fly & waist, outside suspender buttons, gold wire stripe down each leg, and material repair areas at crotch. Uniform has tan wool waist sash w/white tassels and fringe. Set is completed by size 10 black leather Officer`s boots. Outfit comes on 3/4 body mannequin that has no head, arms or feet.
