Here are a few photos of the preparation, time and energy spent to move 1,000 uniform pieces from the liquidated Museum of World Wars, one of the largest WWII military uniform collections outside of the Smithsonian Institute to Manion's International Auction House.

Located in Anaheim, CA, from 1976-1991, the museum was operated by Dr. Donald "Doc" Peters, who served as a front line medic with the US Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater during WWII. When Peters passed away, the museum was closed and the collection only recently resurfaced and was eventually acquired by Manion's.

This is your opportunity to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces we may never see again in this number and variety. Items include everything from AAF flightsuits and jackets, naval aviator dress coats w/ bullion wings, army field jackets and fully appointed marine dress coats, to a complete US D-Day paratrooper uniform, WWI tunics and British battle dress uniforms.

There is also a large variety of combat and service boots, combat helmets, visor caps, back packs and web gear. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to own these museum quality artifacts.

Keep checking back for more information.
