Description: Comes w/inked cardboard caption tag that points towards 1943-45 1st Inf.Div. of General Kosciuszko Army use. Stamped pebbled alum. body shows years of use & even the formed loop has a cut or shrapnel damage. The brass eagle has stamped details & is affixed by 4-rivets thru body/buckle. This style eagle is shown in 1986 Wesolowski book page 310 & noted as made in Soviet Union. The Army eagle was hammered flat to affix the new eagle. Alum. prongs to bar are reversed & dark leather tab is coming unsewn w/faint 1937/maker stamp. Unique Reissue Showing Honest Age Overall!
