Description: Pre-war quality Police green twill-wool body is smaller size. Carmine/pink wool piped 8-button front, piped back, piped brown wool cuffs & collar. 2-pleated patch upper pockets & just patch lowers. Loops for 1-badge & short ribbon bar. Hand sewn-on collar tabs have darker-carmine wool bases that match the sew-in shoulder boards w/brown & bright alum. cord fittings, single gold pip each. Sleeve lacks the original oval shaped eagle but tunic comes w/a nice Police Officer bullion hand-embr. example, black cloth backing & some stitches from being removed from a sleeve, eagle stored inside pocket. Full gray satin lining w/waist belt fittings. No maker to inside pocket & has slash for dagger use but no hanger D-ring. + Bevo owner name tag `Buhrmann` hand sewn to gray waist lining, different shade of green wool body, 3-slash pockets w/no button to back flap & smaller watch slash below. Lacks all fly buttons & cuff slash buttons. Belt loops, side adjustment straps & fittings for suspenders but no buttons. Tear to crotch seam needs sewn-repair. No bug holes yet but some white nests need to be cleaned & bug proofed. Ready for Restoration w/tunic just needing correct sleeve eagle & more work to breeches.
