Description: Tan twill wool body (approx size US 7-1/4) still has some saddle-shape, dark gold-wire piping, brown velvet band & early black leather visor w/age crazed finish. Gold finish worn from eagle highlights revealing copper, gold wreath & 3-part cockade w/good enamel. Age darkening to gold chincord w/some green to underside from resting on leather-visor. `Pekuro` stamped to forehead area of brown leather sweatband w/tear & moisture exposure. Off-white satin lining w/lots of red maker marks to sweatdiamond that has missing section from name tag area & 2-inked out areas to hide past owner names. Shows honest use & little mis-shaped from past poor storage. Excellent reshaping project & being on your head form should start to improve this Scarce Cap Display Potential.
