POLISH 1ST KRECHOWIECKI LANCERS REGIMENT SCREWBACK BADGE, 2ND TYPE-REPRODUCTION

VG example of the very scarce Polish 2nd Type screw back breast badge for the 1st Krechowiecki Lancers Regiment. Issued after 1920, and established in 1915 in Warsaw, Petkow, Wolbrom. Vaulted, two-piece construction,having white and red enameled cross with silver crowned eagle superimposed in the center, which has mini Order of the Virtuti Militari on the chest of the eagle. There is dark blue enameled bar right above it. The plain reverse displays much dark blue patina and has bronze well maker marked screw back in place [A. Panasiuk in Warsaw]. Unit was located at Augustow. Nice example and bargain priced. Condition: 8 Weight: 0.05 lbs
