#1. 2 page letter from man stationed at Scott Field, Illinois - August 13, 1943 (Friday the 13th!) & Free Envelope home to Chicago. #2. 2nd letter from same man - also on Scott Field letterhead - May 15, 1943 + Free envelope home to Chicago. #3.September 28, 1943 letter on Seabee letterhead from man in same family - sent home to Chicago via Air Mail - has 4 canceled 3 cent stamps on envelope - identifies sender as a F 1/C at Camp perry. Lot includes an unused sheet of HEadquarters Western Defence Command stationary + 1955 Armor School Instructor Course graduation certificate named to a Lt. Col. Paul B. Miller + January, 1953 issue of Armed Forces Talk magazine with cover photo of early Jet Pilot`s scrambling from Ready Room trailer on the Air Strip - F-84s in the background - "Defending our Skies" - 15 pages dedicated to Continental Air Defense of the time - excellent condition! Condition: 8 Weight: 0.40 lbs
