RARE CASED JAPANESE ARMY OFFICER`S DRESS SASH

Beautiful example of a WW2 Japanese Army Officer`s dress sash, having adjustable 57mm wide red & white striped ribbed ribbon w/gilt-finished decorative design buckles, connecting to two large gold bullion twist fringed knots. They come in the original black lacquered steel storage case w/bronze handle and padded red velveteen lid lining and red velveteen interior lining to bottom half. The hinges have come loose, but it is repairable [some lacquer has peeled from case]. Sash is gorgeous!  Condition: 9  Weight: 1.35 lbs
