WWI STYLE TRENCH COAT FOR FEMALE, STAGE OR MOVIE COSTUME.

This item is an OD cotton twill trench coat made to resemble a WWI style trench coat for women.  Probably a stage or movie costume.  The eight faux double breasted buttons adorn the front.  The coat folds from right to left and is fastened, not with buttons, but hooks and eyes.  A faux, and non-functional, waist-belt also attaches with hooks and eyes.  The lower "pockets" are simply pocket flaps, no pockets.  The interior does show a curious tag that reads "House-Mauieu, Inc Uniforms, New York City", leading us to speculate that it may be a modified para-military coat (red cross?).  The name "Viola" is written on the inside near the collar.  Measures 21" armpit to armpit.  A nice reenactor or stage prop. STAGE OR MOVIE COSTUME.  Condition: 7
