JAPANESE WW2 ARMY PRIVATE 1ST CLASS TUNIC [DTD. 1943]

Very nice example of Japanese WW2 Army tunic, size 38-40, made of OD wool, having hook to collar, 5 button front, two upper hidden pockets w/buttoned scalloped flaps, two lower hidden pockets w/flaps [all buttons are made of gilt-finished steel], well marked and dated 1943 on the inside white cotton lining with two pockets, and each collar having a Private 1st Class rank tab sewn on [two yellow woven 5-pointed stars on red base and sewn to OD wool base]. The buttoned stable loop to left waist is present, but button has come off [present] and needs re-sewing on. Nice item. Condition: 8
