BOXED JAPANESE RED LACQUERED SAKE CUP WITH ROYAL CREST

VG example of a large-sized, red lacquered wooden Japanese sake cup, having raised silver chrysanthemum [Royal Crest] to inner basin, silver rim and bottom rim, maker marked to bottom. Housed in the balsa wood storage case having green cloth ties in place. The inner lid has hand-written Kanji [indicating this was a presentation piece from Royal Family] plus a makers sticker. The lid is just a slight bit warped on end.  Condition: 8
