Letter from retired Rear Admiral O.H. Dodson to a retired Master Chief Petty officer named "Corky" Johnson, photograph & signature collector. Note is on letter head from the World Heritage Museum at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign when Dodson was serving as Director. After retiring from the Navy in 1957, Dodson became an expert in numismatics, the study and collecting of coins (and other forms of money), and authored a book in 1962 entitled "Money Tells the Story". Letter is accompanied by a one page biography of his life. Condition: 9
