EUROPEAN PRE-WW2 FIRE FIGHTER`S VISOR HAT

Unusual pre-WW2 general European fire fighter`s visor hat, small sized, made of chocolate brown wool with a salmon pink wool piping, matt silver-finished King`s crown styled emblem affixed to band, black oil cloth chincord with brass slides and gilt-finished side buttons with fire department emblem to top. black visor [displaying some wear], brown oil cloth sweatband, and white/pale yellow cotton lining that has owner`s initials "JW" written to it. Lining displays some sweat stains, band displays soiling, and wool body/band exhibiting a few moth track spots and lighter-than-average wear. Not sure what nation this hat was used in. Condition: 7
