BRIG.GENERAL ARNOLD KROGSTAD PERSONAL ESTATE GROUPING

Brig.General Krogstad from June 27, 1936 to March 1938, he was Commandant, Advanced Flying School, Kelly Field, Texas. He then assumed the duties of Wing Commander, 2nd Wing, General Headquarters Air Force, Langley Field, Va. He was assigned to command the 1st Bomber Command at Langley Field, on Sept. 29, 1941. He later served as acting Commanding General of the 1st Air Force and went on to command District No. 2, Technical Training Command, St. Louis, Mo. He was reassigned from St. Louis to Chicago, Ill., to command all AFTTC schools located there. On Aug. 22, 1943, the general assumed command of the Miami Beach Training Base in addition to his command of the 5th District, Army Air Force Technical Training Command.
