Hard Cover (9-1/8" x 6-1/8")- Volume leads with the following words:  "September 1, 1919.  To the Secretary of War.  Sir: I have the honor to submit herewith my final report as Commander-in-Chief of the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe."  The man who penned those words, General John J. Pershing, had just helped to push the Allies to victory over the Central Powers in the First World War.  This volume explains how this was accomplished in the words of the man who made it happen. Cover shows minor scuffing along the binding, but overall the volume is in very good condition.  Contains many fold-out maps and charts.  Washington Government Printing Office, 1920.  96 pp, excluding 15 fold-outs in back of volume.  Condition: 8
