CASED CHINA INCIDENT WAR MEDAL W/RIBBON W/TISSUE, CASED RED CROSS LIFE MEMBER + MORE!

Nice lot of Japanese items, to include: 1) the China Incident War Medal, created by Imperial Edict of July 27, 1939, amended by Edict of 1944 and abolished by Governnment Ordinance in 1946, given to soldiers departing for China until the Summer of 1945, and is very common. Medal is 30m bronze w/a swivel grip and has the same suspender and bar of the previous war medal. The obverse shows the "yata-no-karusu" on crossed Army & Navy flags, w/rays of light behind, and the chrysanthemum crest above. The reverse has a design of mountains, clouds and waves in the Chinese classical style, representing northern China, central China and the Yellow Sea. The inscription is "China Incident." The ribbon is 37mm wide watered silk of 3mm blue, 3mm light blue, 7.5mm tan, 3.5mm dark pink, 2mm bright red, then reverse colors with uniform hook to rear. Comes in a dark brown pasteboard case [minor paper pull on the outside edge] w/silver lettering, and has form-fitted dark blue velveteen display area for medal and original titled tissue wrap; 2) Red Cross Membership Medal, 30mm aluminum, reverse grip having phonetic character, ring attaching to proper watered ribbon with uniform hook to rear and sporting a 16mm Life Member" rosette to front. Comes in a dark blue pressboard box with purple satin display area; 3) 5 uncut pairs of Army Private 1st Class collar tabs [two yellow woven stars into red ribbed base]; and 4) period B/W photo removed from album of an Army Superior Private in uniform with edged weapon at side.
