JAPANESE PRESENTATION VASE W/STAND FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY [IN CASE]
Click above image for full size photos below.
Very nice example of a Japanese Royal Family presented example of a vase, 7" tall, made of metal with a primer coat of black resin, then enameled over in a copper color, sporting image of three leaves and a gilt raised Royal Crest [chrysanthemum] to front. There is a makers mark to bottom. Comes with a red finished wooden display stand that has gilt characters applied to bottom [name of recipient, etc.]. Comes in insect damaged balsa wood storage case w/green cloth ties. With a great deal of persistence and work, the case could be logically put back together. Vase displays minute enamel chip to reverse side, base exhibits few light scuffs across the top. Condition: 8
