BOXED MATCHED SET OF JAPANESE ARMY PRIVATE 1ST CLASS WALKING OUT SHOULDER BOARDS

Nice matched set of walking out shoulder boards for a Japanese Army Private 1st Class, each one having 3 raused gilt-finished 5-pointed stars affixed to olive green wool base with gilt- cherry blossom top button in place, medium brown oil cloth backing and nickeled steel tongue w/locking device. The steel tongue and locking devices display some finish wear and surface rust [as can be seen in photo]. Come in a plain white pressboard storage box [with blue edge stripe to lid], marked on end, and having pink colored double compartment storage area. All corner seams to top and box are split. Still nice for display. Condition: 7
