Embossed Hard Cover-  The statistics are staggering:  Missions Flown-1,1749; Sorties Flown-17,866; Ammunition Fired-5,390,321; Bombs Dropped-4,167 Tons; Total number of military transports, armored vehicles, locomotives, and railroad cars destroyed-6,751.  And these stats were only for the 371st!  Needless to say, this fighter group was a major contributor to the destruction of Hitler`s thousand year reich.  The text is rich and informative, and is supplemented by hundreds of candid and not-so-candid b/w photographs of the men who served and the places they saw. Cover has some minor staining, but is in otherwise good condition.    Published by the Army & Navy Publishing Company, 1946.  198 pp.  Condition: 8
