Soft Cover, brass brads at binding- This report-style document is essentially a travelogue of the 468th in the Pacific Theater of War. Excerpt- "The highlight of the month was our B-29 raid over Japan. This was on 15 June 1944. The target was the Imperial Iron and Steel Works. The results were said to be good. Two of the 793rd planes were lost or missing from the raid. One of these was lost in a crash on the take-off from A-7. This was Captain Hughes` crew. No on suffered more than light scratches and burns which is very fortunate and even miraculous. The other plane that was missing was Captain Pilchard and his crew. There is some hope that the crew members were forced down in China after the raid, and will turn up one by one." 133 pp. Condition: 8
