JAPANESE ARMY 1943-DATED PRIVATE 1ST CLASS OD COTTON TUNIC

Fine example of a WW2 Japanese Army OD cotton Private 1st Class tunic, approximate size 36-38, dated 1943 and maker marked inside on the white cotton lining that has two pockets, having hook to collar, 5 button front, buttoned side pockets under the arms, [doesn`t look as if it ever had buttoned stable loop to left waist], double split tail, two plain patch pockets w/scalloped buttoned flaps [all buttons made of black bakelite], and matching rank tabs to each collar [having two woven yellow stars into red ribbed base, sewn to OD wool base, then sewn to collar]. Displays light use and wear, but the inner white cotton lining in the tail areas displays dirt soiling [that can be cleaned up some]. Condition: 8
