CASED CHINA INCIDENT WAR MEDAL W/RIBBON, RED CROSS MEDAL + SOLDIER PHOTO

Good to VG lot of Japanese items, to include: 1) The China Incident War Medal, created by Imperial Edict of July 27, 1939, amended by Edict of 1944 and abolished by Governnment Ordinance in 1946, given to soldiers departing for China until the Summer of 1945, and is very common. Medal is 30m bronze w/a swivel grip and has the same suspender and bar of the previous war medal. The obverse shows the "yata-no-karusu" on crossed Army & Navy flags, w/rays of light behind, and the chrysanthemum crest above. The reverse has a design of mountains, clouds and waves in the Chinese classical style, representing northern China, central China and the Yellow Sea. The inscription is "China Incident." The ribbon is 37mm wide watered silk of 3mm blue, 3mm light blue, 7.5mm tan, 3.5mm dark pink, 2mm bright red and then in reverse order again, w/uniform hook to back. Comes in dark brown silver titled pressboard case w/dark blue felt form fitted display area [few scuffs to outer material of case]; 2) Red Cross Membership Medal, in silver [displaying nice bluish patina], phonetic character to rear of grip, and proper watered ribbon [lacking the hook and catch]; and 3) original B/W photo of an Army soldier standing guard, holding bayoneted rifle, removed from photo album.
