Average example of a 1941-produced Japanese Army Type 94 water bottle, displaying an OD-finished aluminum body [most of the olive brown finish worn away], with aluminum-topped cork stopper and dark brown leather adjustible retainer strap w/buckle. The carrier canvas straps have markings to both sides. Canteen is complete with the canvas adjustible shoulder strap that has owner sewn thread characters applied to it in several spots. Buckles display some rust, overall piece exhibits use and wear.  Condition: 6
