BUTTERFLY DESIGN BEADED EVENING PURSE PURPORTED TO BELONG TO EVA BRAUN, W/AFFIDAVIT
Click above image for full size photos below.
Super nice and very rare historical piece of memorabilia liberated from the Berghof, the mountain retreat on the Obersalzberg of the Fuhrer of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, who committed suicide in the bunker on April 30, 1945, along with his mistress [and later wife], Eva Braun. This item is a very nice pearl-like beaded evening purse, purported to belong to Braun, which has beautiful pearl-like bodied butterfly with wings of silver and gold beads. It has working maker marked zipper and the interior of white silky material has an inner pocket. Many of Braun`s personal items either carried a butterfly design or her famed butterfly initials "EB". This item was liberated near the end of WW2 by one LTC Harry Richards of the U.S. Army, who liberated many such items from the Berghof. It comes with an affidavit from R. Roger Reece, signed and dated January 1, 2001, attesting to these facts as well as transferring ownership to the current vendor of this item. Tremendous opportunity to obtain such an historically important item from noted personality during an infamous time in history. Condition: 9
