Nice and unusual WW2 Japanese Army porcelain sake bottle, awarded for some occasion, 5.5" tall, having dark brown neck [bordered in gold to top and bottom], maker marked to bottom, having powder blue basket weave body with central design of sacred bird to top of raised cherry blossom outline [with gilt star superimposed over crossed Nat`l and Rising Sun flags and Kanji], and gilt turtle below it, rear having raised image of a hand fan. Nice display piece. Condition: 8
