Average to good example of the WW2 Japanese Military Wound Badge, established by military authority on August 3, 1938 in two classes, in this case "Ko`Sho" for wounds or disability of a non-combattant nature. 30mm, silver w/red enameled cross composed of 4 ancient shields, and within the angles 4 spear heads of pitted metal, die struck, w/gold portrait of Kusunoke Massashigi in center & Japanese Kanji characters on back, made for double silver-finished pin attachment, having only the double catches [the hinged pins are gone]. Nice enamel work to cross arms, still very decent for display purposes. Comes with original B/W photo of Army soldier in white robe [possible wounded soldier in hospital complex]. Condition: 6
