JAPANESE ARMY OFFICER`S VISOR HAT

Average to good WW2 example of a small-sized Japanese Army Officer`s visor hat, made of OD wool [two brown-finished steel vents to each side] with red wool piping and band, gilt-finished 5 pointed star device to band, black patent leather chincord w/slides & gilt-finished cherry blossom top side buttons, black visor [displaying crack and faint crazing], black oil cloth sweatband and plain black satiny lining. Hat displays some tiny moth nips in spots to band, piping, and overall use and wear. Fairly decent display piece. Condition: 6
