Absolutely stunning replica functional Batman utility belt, of very heavy construction, belt made of black leather with gold exterior, large gold-finished open face buckle to front, and 9 gold-finished metal pouches around the belt, whose tops actually open for insertion of "gas pellets", etc. Mounted in a specially constructed black-finished wooden display case with titled plate to front, and heavu clear plexiglass lid that fits over it. For the Batman enthusiasts out there, belt looks very similar to that drawn by artist Carmine Infantino in the 1960`s, the top pouch openings similar to the way artist Dick Sprang drew them back in the 1940`s. We`ve never seen such a nice comic character related item run through the auction before, and may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to obtain such a magnificent item!
