BOXED JAPANESE WW2 ARMY OFFICER`S VISOR HAT

Good+ to VG- example of a WW2 Japanese Army Officer`s visor hat, small sized, made of OD wool having two brown-finished steel vents to each side [exhibit bit of surface rust] with red wool piping and band [that has gilt-finished 5-pointed star device affixed to it], black patent leather chincord w/slides & gilt-finished cherry blossom top side buttons, black visor [a few craze marks], black false leather sweatband [exhibiting 6 splits], and black  satiny lining. One moth nip to peak near piping, rest nice. Comes in the original maker`s pressboard hat box, complete with tissue packing. Lid has a 25% seam splt and displays age discoloration.  Condition: 7
