Good to VG lot of two vintage newspapers, to include: 1) The Boston Daily Journal" for November 17, 1863, 4 pages, featuring great stories as progress in the Battle of Chattanooga, General Bank`s Expedition in Texas, news from Fort Monroe, call for colored troops [the famed 54th Massachusetts Regiment] and more; and 2) "The Daily Union" for July 3, 1852, published in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 4 pages, featuring great stories as the nomination of Franklin Pierce for President, the death of the "Great Emancipator" Henry Clay, ads for rifles, custoim made pistols, the Pennsylvania RR and more. Few light stains on each, remarkably good condition. Condition: 7
