JAPANESE FIRE BRIGADE BADGE IN WRONG CASE

Fine example of a WW2 Fire Brigade Badge, 37mm x 27mm, displaying yellow enameled crossed axes over what appears to be a green enameled helmet and one of the higher Japanese decorations in red enamel to top, all to center of dark blue enameled background. Reverse has Japanese characters and vertical silver-finished double needle pin attachment w/open hook catches. Very nice example, which comes in a balsa wood case not made for this particular badge [it has gold embossed titled lid and maker mark to edge]. Condition: 8
