Very nice example of a WW2 Japanese Army Sponsor Association Badge, 37mm, having raised gilt metal 6-pointed star affixed to center area having black enameled 3-footed bird super-imposed over red and yellow enameled background, silver-finished 3-rayed cross to sides, much Kanji to rear which has vertical silver-finished flat tapered pin w/open hook catch. Comes in the balsa wood issue box having makers titled paper lid, purple velveteen display area and markings to bottom.  Condition: 8
