FRENCH COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF THE GREAT WAR W/RIBBON

Good example of the French Commemorative Medal of the Great War, awarded to all mobilized members of the French forces & all civilians who had been engaged in various forms of war service. The bronze medal`s obverse has portrait of woman wearing a steel helmet and holding a sword, the reverse w/nation`s name and Grand Guerre 1914-1918. Medals displays some wear, and connects to 36mm wide ribbed ribbon having six 3.5mm white & five 3mm red stripes, complete w/doubled needle pin attachment. Condition: 7
