BRITISH WW2 ARMY ARTILLERY OFFICER`S FIELD TUNIC, USED IN HOLLYWOOD FILM PRODUCTIONS

This WW2 British Artillery Officer`s field tunic, approximate size 38-40, was used by Hollywood film studios in many of their productions down through the years. Made of OD wool, it has a 4 button front, two upper & lower open top & buttoned patch pockets, two sewn-in shoulder straps [backed in brown satin] w/buttons, brown wool twill lining that has several pockets, and w/maker & artillery marked striped white cotton sleeve lining. The lining is also maker stamped. The tunic exhibits some light moth tracking in spots and lower right & left areas sport some moth bites. Cannot detect presence of any insignia ever having been applied. Buttons are bronze, two-piece, maker marked w/raised King`s Crown to top. Fairly decent display item, again used by Hollywood film studios.  Condition: 6
