G.A.R. OFFICIAL SOUVENIR BADGE FOR 38TH NAT`L ENCAMPMENT [BOSTON, 1904]

This example of the Official Souvenir G.A.R. Badge for the 38th National Encampment, held in Boston, Massachusetts in 1904, is made of gilt-finished bronze. The "Schwaab S & S. Co." marked pb brooch connects to the "GAR" bar to center [lacking the red, white and blue enamel work], which then connects to two-piece pendant, which has silver-finished medallion to center. The badge exhibits wear to the finish, but fairly decent display example in spite of the lack of the enamel. Condition: 7
