Nice and scarce example of the Official Souvenir Badge for the 36th National Encampment, held in Washington D.C. from October 6-10, 1902. The reddish-brown bronze badge [with raised portrait of George Washington to it] is maker marked "Schwaab S & S. Co." and attached by 2 bronze rings to reddish-brown brooch that has red, white and blue enameled "GAR" to front [wee bit of blue enamel missing], is maker marked the same way, and has horizontal needle pin w/open hook catch. Great display piece.  Condition: 8
