G.A.R. INDIANA DEPT. 27TH ENCAMPMENT BADGE W/BROOCH [1906]

Fairly rare example of the G.A.R. 27th Indiana Department Encampment badge, held in the city of Lafayette from May 22-24, 1906. It is gilt-finished over a russet brown bronze base, both badge and brooch maker marked. The gilt-finish has worn some. The "G" is red enameled and the "A" is white enameled [no enamel remains in the "R"]. The needle pin of the pb device is partially missing [all the rest present]. Condition: 6
