G.A.R. REPRESENTATIVE`S BADGE TO 45TH ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT BADGE [SCRANTON, PA., 1911]

Nice displayable G.A.R. Representative`s Badge to the 45th Annual Encampment, Department of Pennsylvania, held in the city of Scranton in June of 1911. The maker marked russet-red bronze brooch has Pennsylvania seal, date and city to front, and horizontal PB to rear, and connects to red ribbed suspension ribbon attached to russet-red bronze "REPRESENTATIVE" bar, whose ring then attaches to maker marked 39mm in diameter russet-red bronze badge having raised Commander`s portrait to front and the Old Soldier`s Monument to reverse. The ribbon was sewn together at ends after being placed into position, and some thread has come loose....but is easily re-sewn. The maker is "J.K. Davison`s Sons". Very nice example! Condition: 8
