Good++ to VG- example of an attendee`s G.A.R. Badge to the 23rd National Encampment, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from August 27-30, 1889. Gilt-finished pb brooch has oval portrait of george Washington on it, and holds the red, white and blue gilt embossed ribbon [few minute fray spots], connected by ring to the silver-finished 38mm in diameter pendant, w/GAR medal to obverse and scene of Washington reviewing the troops to reverse [some fginish wear, some mirrored surfaces still exist]. Condition: 7
