U.S. ARMY RARE WW1 EM IN 245TH AERO TUNIC

This tunic, vendor reports, belonged to an EM named W. H. Blinn, a member of the 245th AERO Squadron in the 1st World War. Tunic is medium-sized, made of OD wool, w/2 hook stand-up collar, 5 button front, two sewn-in shoulder straps w/buttons, two upper & lower plain patch pockets w/buttoned gently scalloped flaps [all buttons are 2-piece blackened-bronze w/raised eagle design], two gold bullion overseas stripes sewn to lower left cuff, 245th Aero patch sewn to right shoulder [white thread embroidery onto dark blue-black wool base], and 3-piece white-blue-red squadron patch sewn to left shoulder. Right collar has blackened-bronze "US" screwback disc, and left collar has blackened-bronze screwback Aviation disc in place. OD silky lining has one pocket. Very nice display piece and quite rare!
