This box was given to Helmuth Thumm from the city of Ulm while he commanded the Ulmer Jager-Division. Approx. size 2x5.5x8" w/dark patina to silver body & bottom edge stamped `830S` w/3-proofs. Lid engraved w/5th Jager shield over `Die Stadt Ulm Dem Tapferen Kommandeur Der Ulmer Jager-Division Generalmajor Thumm 5 Juni 1943`. Wood panels inside. Lot includes post-war Autographed copy photo in uniform w/KC & oakleaves + Period postcard shot of Thumm in uniform + tattered photo of Thumm recieving Oakleaves from Hitler + various copies of his service record stating he was captured 10 May 1945. Condition: 9
