Huge lot is Named w/many photos & personnel documents, newspaper clippings, & career history, full size naval aviator wings marked "Ster 1/20 10K" H&H , dog tag, Ensign rank shoulder boards, 8 wide ribbons on 3 PB bars, leather flight cadet name tag, 2 different issue blood chits, 2 Pacific area cloth survival maps, CBI "Pointie Talkie" book with OD cover, 1944 Survival manual, 2 situation maps, 50-60`s era summer tan flight suit, WWII White cotton flight helmet, Custom made-personalized nickel silver friction belt buckle with Aviator wing-name, etc. on custom made tan cotton belt. Lots of interesting paper pertaining to this man. Original "Yank of the Week" home town newspaper clipping with photo of this man, handwritten summary of career, Religous service program for the USS Belleau Wood - served VF-24, VF-32 & VV-5, shot down and survived 21 hours at seas (covered in period newspaper clippings, had 1 confirmed air to air kill & 3 probables. Many period clippings -some with his photos! A bonus of researchable treasure.  Condition: 9
