VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE CAP BADGE AND CADET`S UNIFORM BUTTON

Gilt-colored finish button has "CADET", "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS", armored soldier and initials "V.M.T." below on front of this sew-on button [which shows green patina on edges and 4 spots on back; has maker mark]. The stamped gilt-colored finish cap badge has "VMI" at the top of a 1/2 wreath surrounding the slogan "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS", soldier in armor standing atop a dead soldier, and the word "Virginia" at the bottom [finish is dulled]. The letter "V" is bent back some. This screwback badge features two small prongs, one bent, and shows green patina to screwback, screw itself and several spots on the back of badge.  Condition: 6
