Buy. Sell. Collect.

Manion’s International Auction House has brokered the sale of Militaria and historic collectibles since 1970.

What began as a printed catalog, published nine times a year, has grown into online auctions closing 365 days a year visited habitually by collectors from around the globe.

Manion’s is synonymous with military collecting, and is heavily utilized by both buyers and sellers throughout the historic collectible community.

Millions of dollars in historic collectible merchandise is bought and sold every year through www.manions.com by museums, archives, and advanced collectors – as well as those new to collecting historic artifacts.

Manion’s staff travels the country exhibiting, and collecting consignment, during militaria and historical related collecting events, enjoying a well established presence. Once consignment arrives at our Kansas City facility (through event pick-up or delivery by a major carrier), our professional staff takes it from there.

Each item is given a unique consignor and item number, and a bar code is generated containing all pertinent information. The items are then photographed in our digital imaging studio, described by writers with hundreds of years of combined collecting experience, and cataloged in our underground storage facility.

Items go live on the auction site soon after description - many items receive bids within minutes of being posted. After an item sells. It is packed, shipped, and the consignor is sent a check.

Reach. Segmentation. History.
Reach
Few, if any, companies exist with the potential to provide effective reach online with the affordable price tag offered by Manion’s International Auction House. Our audience permeates the United States and Europe, and consistently draws visitors around the globe. In an average week, www.manions.com receives over 50,000 visits with 400,000 page views, and nearly 15 minutes is spent per visit.
Segmentation
www.manions.com benefits from a vast database of dedicated members. The strata of the militaria collecting community are diverse, educated, and passionate about history. It makes sense that this specific community would be “under the radar” of advertising . . . it is virtually an untapped market with significant income, assets, and influence. Their mission is to learn about and collect history, to speak about it with other collectors and historians, and to promote education on essentially a grassroots level.
History
This community is passionate about history - military history in specific. It is their identity, personal and family history, and educational endeavor. From the Norman Invasion to the current war in Iraq, Manion’s members appreciate the opportunity to learn more, and educate others, about the events which shaped our history and will continue influence the future. However, to Manion’s customer community, education is not enough. Their passion compels them to collect history -- to have a tangible element related to a historic event, to hold it in their hands, and experience the connection.
