I have personally used Manion’s International Auction since the 1970’s, when the firm was then known as “The Fox Hole”. As an active customer for over 3 decades, I have had the opportunity to bid on what were later to become some of WWII’s most famous artifacts. Some still remain in my personal collection today! As an officer and co-promoter of The MAX Show, we hired Manion’s to be the Show’s auctioneer. For a number of years, Manion’s expertise and professionalism proved to be an asset to The MAX Show.

-Thomas T. Wittmann, collector, author, and militaria show promoter

I think that Manion’s provides a very nice service to the general public. They help people sell their treasures and collectibles at the highest professional level, thereby helping the items sell for a much higher price then what a normal person could ever get for them . Their friendly and professional employees always make it a pleasure when dealing with Manion’s. I would personally recommend them to all of my friends who have something to sell or want to buy.

-Colonel Don “Doc” Ballard US Army retired and Medal of Honor Recipient.

I go back with the original Ron Manion even before he began his auction house! All of my personal experiences with Manion’s have been satisfactory… and John Conway especially has always been a gentleman and always handled any questions with nothing but courtesy and professionalism.

-Rudy D’Angelo, Farmington Connecticut – collector since 1962

After Wings of World War II was published, I sent a good portion of my wing collection (including fine wings I had originally bought off the auction) to Manion’s and was rewarded with excellent help and great sales beyond my expectations. Recently I experienced the same thing with my NASA collection. I find your buyers particularly advanced and intelligent. Someday my wife intends to send my “keepers” to you when that time comes as well.

-Russ Huff, Sarasota, Florida - collecting 30 years and counting

We’ve been with Manion’s as both bidder and consignor for over 20 years - outstanding service and never a problem. We can always count on their support for our West Coast Militaria Collectors show in Pomona as well!

    -Bob Chatt, Vintage Productions, California

We have sent surplus inventory to Manion’s for many years, and have received excellent results, as their customer base is extensive and worldwide in scope.

-LTC (Ret.) Thomas M. Johnson, Johnson Reference Books & Militaria - Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Over the past 17 years, the National World War I Museum in Kansas City has purchased specific World War I materials from Manion’s to meet needs in the collection and exhibits. I have been pleased with the materials and the prompt service.

-Doran Cart, Liberty Memorial National WWI Museum Curator

I’ve been a Manion’s Auction customer since 1981 and can say with certainty that some of my most cherished pieces have come from Manion’s. Also, I’ve been able to afford some of these items by selling my duplicates and excess pieces through the auction. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been astounded by the prices realized for the items that I’ve sold.

    -Allan H. Topeka, Kansas

Manion’s and I have been dealing since back in the 70’s. They are currently selling most of my inventory and collection and I am very satisfied with the prices and the payments. This has been on going for the past two years or so, and we’ve still got a lot of goodies to sell.

    -Larry M. Pistole

I am a certified appraiser who specializes in large military collections I and use Manion’s Auction Results as “the bible” for prices set on militaria.

    -Timothy Gordon, I.S.A.A

I’ve bought and sold with the Manion family and staff for over thirty years and highly treasure the experience and collectibles.

-Steve Cregut, Pack Rat Antiques - Topeka, Kansas

I’ve always been pleased with customer service and the artifacts I’ve received from Manions and they allow me to bring my dog with me - they even feed her!

-Mike Epstein, Prairie Village, Kansas - collector for 13 years

This museum finds Manions Auction easy to work with, pleasant and professional staff and a wonderful place to find unusual militaria.

-Karen Gasser, Director AAF Tank Museum

I recall trading with Ron Manion and Eric Johansson before Manion’s began in 1970, and I have several items listed in present auctions.

    -Jim Sobery, Norcross, Georgia

I have used Manion’s for many years, being in the first 1000 accounts and always found them to be reliable and to have some very nice goods.

    -Robert Saunders

I was a Manions customer in the “old days” - 1975-83 - and re-affiliated 2005-present. No complaints here. The folks I’ve met are top of the line, and it is a pleasure doing business with the pros.

    -Satisfied Customer, Leavenworth, Kansas.

Nobody works as hard as Manion’s to sell my items.

    -John H., Lee Summit, Missouri

A place where I have real friends and have bought nice pieces for my collection for over 16 years – long live Manion’s!

I have a patch in my collection that I have only seen one of EVER and I obtained it from a Manion’s auction - THANKS MANIONS!

    -Kent Sapp

I have done business with Manion’s for many years. The company has made a number of changes in recent years, including new ownership - which has been a major positive step.

    -Jon Maguire, Oklahoma

Just received another item from Manion’s. Gotta tell you that I am very happy with the piece. Nice tunic, hasn`t been messed with, clean. Your description was right on. No matter how ya look at it MANION’S IS THE BEST - and I have been doing this for a long time.
